When The Sun Sets Goes Punk On Brand New Cover Of Post Malone "I Had Some Help"

Rising from Chicago, pop-punk band known as When The Sun Sets shares brand new cover of Post Malone's "I Had Some Help" which was released today on April 2nd. When The Sun Sets consists of members vocalist Zack Baumgartner, bassist Rob Hlavka, guitarists Anthony Quinones and Ryan Konezney and lastly drummer Adam Gay. The band also has just unveiled their upcoming Spring tour dates. It's so amazing to see bands turn a country pop song into a whole different genre. Bands really should bring back the pop goes punk cover songs back.

"We wanted to really challenge ourselves musically on this cover and we believe that we gave this song a whole new life in pop-punk form. A Billboard topping single was a major task, but I think what kept us going was the thought of this being our 'Pop Goes Punk' version, trying to keep what didn't need to be changed but make it our own in a unique way. Our producer, Roye Robley, has helped us so much throughout our career with piecing together the puzzles that create songs and this cover provided our entire team the opportunity to attack something completely new for us. We are looking forward to sharing this one with the world and showing people a little piece of what our band is if they are new to our stuff!"

In the visualizer, I absolutely adore the aesthetic the band has went with and the scenery. The video takes place of them all walking down a quiet, empty street as well as a room that was covered in paintings on the walls. If you want to talk about getting your steps in, this is definitely one way to. One thing that I wanted to point out was how their drummer Adam Gay was air drumming the entire time even when the other members weren't playing their instruments while sitting down all together. These guys definitely were definitely creative with the track and I love how they all kept the same melody as the original.

The band will be going on tour this spring on their "Another Midwestern Meltdown Tour" so make sure to go check this band out on their upcoming dates below!
