Vampires Everywhere! Unveils Captivating Cover of My Chemical Romance's Iconic Hit 'Welcome to the Black Parade'

Rock band Vampires Everywhere! has dropped their dazzling cover of My Chemical Romance's anthem "Welcome to the Black Parade" via Cleopatra Records. The band was just on their spring tour with support acts Dreamwake and Cultus Black and has recently wrapped up the tour on March 30th. The band is currently on their spring tour, joined by supporting acts Dreamwake and Cultus Black. This recent cover is following the visualizer for their recent single "Another Funeral Song" which their latest full-length album The Devil made Me Do It which was released in January 2025 via Dark Kingdom Records.

As an elder emo myself, it is pretty cool to hear when bands do covers of well known songs that have played a huge part of the music scene. My Chemical Romance's "Welcome To The Black Parade" was a massive anthem for those in the rock scene and has played a huge impact on artists we currently listen to. The haunting, synth, reimagined version that Vampires Everywhere! has curated is very astonishing. This cover is haunting and very creative and I am all here for it.

Lead vocalist Michael Vampire shares to fans, "I never thought in a million years I would ever attempt to cover a My Chemical Romance song! When I was approached by Cleopatra Records to pick a song for their upcoming compilation I knew I had to take a shot in the dark and give it a whirl. I am beyond excited on how the song turned out. I wanted to stick to the compilation format of dark-wave vibes and I think I found a happy medium achieving that. Big shout out to Paul Bartolome of Asking Alexandria for producing the track and Mikey Dez for recording my vocals."

The opening track to Vampires Everywhere! recent album The Devil made Me Do It is known as "Antichrist". This track brings the energy to the track with the heavy, catchy riffs, Michael Vampire's mix of cleans and screams. The song sort of reminds me of going back into a time machine to the early-mid 2000s. As a kid, I would have my old iPod and would be burning CD's and the overall aesthetic of the song would be that I would listen to growing up. You can view the track below.

"For the last 24 years I've been riding the wave of the "Music Industry" and trying to navigate my way through all of its insane trials and tribulations. However, I always find myself swimming in dark uncharted waters that I need to overcome in order to carry on as an artist. It's extremely hard to run a band; let alone triumph in an industry run by major record labels and inside tastemakers. Vampires Everywhere! has always been the "outcast" band and many people to this day still don't understand exactly what we are or where we fit. The confusion leads to chaos and in the chaos I emerge as this demonic figure misunderstood and shunned for being insanely different. I am an extremely blunt person and in an industry where kissing ass may help your career, I choose to remain steadfast and not bow down to industry norms. I became the "Antichrist" of the industry. I need my fans to know that being different and extremely honest can lead them to the holy land; meaning success and personal satisfaction. I am not going anywhere and refuse to stop being an artist and being completely genuine. The song is my ode to being myself. I never wrote about my personal struggles with this topic and it feels liberating to finally lay it on wax."
