After a successful 2024, New England Metal & Hardcore Festival, the northeast's biggest metal and hardcore festival will be making its return for a third year in a row to the legendary Palladium Outdoors in Worcester, MA this September and like the last two years, they did not cut any corners.
Sponsored by MNRK Heavy, Nuclear Blast Records, Century Media, Revolver, Zildjian and Sound Rink, the one night event will take place on September 20th and will feature the kings of modern deathcore, Lorna Shore as the headliners. Other bands set to appear include the legacy death metal band Cannibal Corpse, Kublai Khan TX, The Black Dahlia Murder, Drain, Madball, Despised Icon, Shadow of Intent, Bayway and more. This year will be a special one too because it will mark the final performance of Bury Your Dead which will feature the lineup of Matt Bruso, Mark Costello, Brendan "Slim" MacDonald, Aaron "Bubble" Patrick, and Chris Cain.
VIP tickets are onsale now with general onsale going live this Friday, April 18th at 10AM EST. A special Revolver presale will be available on Thursday, April 17th from 10AM-10PM EST. Sign up for the presale here!

"We've done this fest over a bunch of formats through the years — two days, three days, you name it. This time, it's one day, but we didn't cut corners. This lineup is stacked from top to bottom. We're bringing you the best of the best. All gas, no brakes. Weeeeeee." - co-founder Scott Lee.
Since its inception in 1999, New England Metal & Hardcore Festival has been the mainstay for metal and hardcore and has given the northeast many memorable moments. The festival has hosted acts like Megadeth, Lamb Of God, Meshuggah and many more. Since its explosive comeback in 2023, the festival has continued that streak, hosting bands like Parkway Drive, Slaughter To Prevail, Hatebreed, and Shadows Fall, to name a few. Last year's event was extroadinary as it was Killswitch Engage's 25th anniversary celebration which featured a mini museum downstairs by the main stage of The Palladium and a special career spanning set from the band which featured former lead vocalist Howard Jones.
This year, NEMHF definitely kept their foot on the pedal bringing Lorna Shore out as this year's headliner. Lorna Shore have climbed to the top and remained high on the mountain since the release of their 2022 fourth studio album Pain Remains. Last year, the band completed a nearly sold out Fall tour where they played their latest release in its entirety and will be making a number of festival and headlining appearances this summer in Europe as well as an appearance two days before their headliner at Louder Than Life in Louisville, KY on September 18th.
As it stands, this looks to be Lorna Shore's final US performance of the year and we probably won't get anymore until new music so this may be your last chance to see them these giants this year. This will also be your last chance to see Bury Your Dead so get your tickets ASAP to say goodbye to a legendary metalcore band.
