Halestorm Unveils Haunting New Single "Darkness Always Wins"

On Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025- Grammy winning rock icons Halestorm has just unleashed a new dark, cinematic, haunting single titled "Darkness Always Wins". The new single was produced by GRAMMY-winning producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell). This track is the first song to be revealed from an upcoming album from Atlantic Records, which information will be announced to the public soon.

Front woman Lzzy Hale shares “‘Darkness Always Wins’ is not a song of hope, nor is it a song of despair.. “It is reality. History repeating. Evil prevails and the good depart first. But we are not doomed as long as we persist and keep our fires burning. The war may not be won in this lifetime. But our mission is to pass the torch so that those who follow have a light to fight with.”

This summer, Halestorm will be traveling across to Europe to support metal legend band Iron Maiden, followed by a US tour supporting Volbeat. Halestorm will also make their grand appearance performing a one night only performance for Black Sabbath's last show in Birmingham, England on July 5th. For Women's history month, Hale has sat down with Lacuna Coil's Christina Scabbia and Spiritbox's Courtney LaPlante for Spotify's "Women of Metal Roundtable".
